About GamingFeud, aka Dave
I’ve been on YouTube since 2007. I started my GamingFeud channel in 2008 in hopes of making game walkthroughs after watching a Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess walkthrough. I bought my first capture card in 2008, a Pinnacle Video Transfer. I’ve since then upgraded to an HD PVR. Which I highly recommend if you want to take YouTube seriously. I have gotten over seven million plus views on all of my videos. A pretty impressive accomplishment that I consider. I make videos for fun, not to get money or fame. However it would be nice to build an audience on my channel. It’s always awesome to see someone leave a positive comment on my videos or a thumbs up. I even managed to get a few fans along the way. It always puts a smile on my face seeing the same people comment on my videos.
I’ve always loved to write & play games so I thought why not combine my passions and write for gaming websites, which I have been doing for the past 3 years now on and off. Originally I started writing for BLPGaming, a site run by a friend of mine. I later moved onto my own website that got lot’s of positive feedback. However due to some complications, most of my staff and members moved away from my site. This got my pretty upset and I closed the site down as well as my YouTube channel. I re-opened my channel back in 2009 and started uploading videos again. It wasn’t until 2011 that I finally decided to start talking in my videos, which was one of the best things I could have done for my channel. Ever since then I started gaining fans. Thanks to my commentaries, which I consider to be the bread and butter of my channel.
I decided to finally start uploading playthroughs again. Which is something I based my channel on, since the beginning. My main goal on YouTube is just to have fun, that’s why I started my channel. I thought it would be cool to record my gameplay. I mean heck I like playing games, why not record me playing them. So far it’s worked out pretty well for me. My channel officially became partnered in October of 2011. Thanks to The Game Station. Which means I now earn money off of my videos. I won’t say how much I earn, but it’s enough to get the games that I want. I’m 20 years old, I love watching movies, listening to music, camping, snowboarding, hanging out with friends, and enjoying life!
